Ctrl N is – in short – a compilation featuring musicians creating contemporary electronic music. Its creed is to present the current state of electronic music in Slovenia or, as the album’s subtitle suggests, “A Chapter in Slovene Electronics.” The tracks were chosen by a crew of Radio Student music journalists in a way that steers clear of the borders set by genres, scenes or regions – quality and character are what defines the music on the compilation. While definitely not dance-floor-shy, it still has a distinctively experimental flavor.
The compilation will be released exclusively as a double 12″ vinyl album on March 19. A digital release will follow in April.
